Our aim was to develop links with Local Nature Reserve Part of a study about sculpture, children to visit site discover about the variety environment and landscape there-and adjacent quarry. Look and examine plants, rocks shapes, textures, colours etc. Simple recognition. Drawing, painting and clay work. Produce work on limestone pavement to create a limestone pavement in clay. Display in school and the community
Activities on site: Exploration of different parts of site, Use of magnifying glasses, mirrors, counting plants and object in hoop, Use clay to make prints, Collect materials, drawings, rubbings, photos.
