Education packs

We have developed a Flora of the Fells Education Pack based on the education work carried out by the project in Cumbria between 2005 and 2007. The pack is geared towards teachers of Key Stages 1 and 2, with some activities relevant to Key Stages 3 and 4, and includes a mixture of outdoor and classroom based activities. The education pack is free to download. This resource will be updated during 2009.

Coming Soon - Climate Change Education Pack

We are currently developing a climate change module linked to our ‘Mission Possible?’ publication for use in schools. It will consist of a talk and workshop ideas plus follow on activities which schools can become involved. These will be piloted in several schools during 2010. The module focuses on the possible impacts of climate change on the landscape and environment and could be used on its own or linked to Sustainable or Eco-Schools
