Flora of the Fells Education Work
Since 2006 the project has worked with local school to reconnect children with their local landscapes raising awareness of the economic, cultural, biodiversity, social and resource value of Cumbria's landscape. It has allowed kids to get outside and break down barriers preventing them from enjoying the countryside helping to instill a sense of place. All activities have been targetted to deliver elements of the national curriculum.
