What's on

The Flora of the Fells 2010 Festival covers ten areas of the Cumbrian uplands - Arnside and Silverdale AONB, Kendal Limestone areas of Scout and Cunswick Scars, Loughrigg, Windermere, Helvellyn, Skiddaw, Ennerdale, Scafell, the North Pennines AONB and Orton Fells.

2010 events run from spring until autumn and will highlight the activities of some of the many groups and organisations undertaking valuable environmental work in these areas.

The events brochure is available free from Cumbrian outlets. If you would like to be sent a printed copy please send a cheque for £1.50 to cover P&P to Friends of the Lake District, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7SS. Please make cheques out to 'Friends of the Lake District'.

NEW EVENTS will be added as the Festival progresses. So do keep checking - the web events listing will be updated on a weekly basis throughout the year and you can join our email mailing list to receive monthly event updates.

Getting There

The links below will take you to our entire event listing where you can view details of all the events. Many events can be booked online. If an event has been arranged by one of our partners, you will need to book directly with them. Their details will be given in the event description.

The 2010 Flora of the Fells Festival is co-funded by Friends of the Lake District. Members of Friends of the Lake District can go on all £5 and under events which are organised by Friends of the Lake District for FREE! Why not take advantage of this offer by joining Friends of the Lake District for as little as £1.25 a month (£15 per year). Please note this offer does not apply to events organised by other organisations.
